Pobl are a group of companies working together as part of a team offering great homes, care and support that make a difference to people’s lives.

The Star Programme was designed to incorporate leading edge, innovative solutions to proactively shape the leadership capability within a rapidly changing sector. Awbery worked with Pobl (200+ employees) to create a range of workshops to develop leadership excellence, equipping leaders with new thinking and skills.

OBJECTIVE

The aim of the Star Programme was to:

  • Develop talented and confident leaders
  • Develop leaders who could bring the best out of others
  • Develop leaders who were tuned into the Group plans and priorities
  • Develop agile leaders who were equipped to meet the challenges ahead

METHODOLOGY

Programmes were developed across three distinct leadership levels:

Level 1 – Workshops designed for people new to a particular subject or who wanted to refresh their learning.

Level 2 – Workshops designed for people who have experienced some development in the subject area but wanted a more experiential approach to the subjects.

Level 3 – For senior and executive level leaders looking to develop strategic thinking and perspective

Each workshop also included an element of focusing on developing coaching and mentoring skills to help realise the full potential within their teams.
