In the UK, the Michelin Tyre Company Ltd was incorporated on 11  May 1905 and is now, more than one hundred years later involved in many activities not just tyre making, from tyre industry training to economic development and publishing.

Senior Team Development Programme: Michelin requested a bespoke series of workshops be designed and aligned with their business strategy, to enable the senior team time together to confirm their strategic vision for the factory. Building and sustaining a high performing team was essential in order to lead and inspire the employees and ensure successful outcomes and achievement of business results.

OBJECTIVE

To define and develop the knowledge, skills and behaviours required for the team to prepare for the future and deliver the vision for the factory.

METHODOLOGY

Through five tailored face-to-face workshops supported with profiling and one-to-one coaching, the development programme ran over a six month period. Self-assessment, team profiling, group exercises and peer-to-peer-feedback were all included in this modular programme. Core subjects included
